1. Who we are

INTELLIGENCES is an independent publishing house. We design, publish and distribute media in three forms: print (journals, books, editions), web (platforms, online publications, the intelligences.* galaxy of services) and objects (physical editions, prints, artefacts). Our infrastructure is self-hosted, local-first, and our work is released in an open-source spirit. Full legal information is available in the legal notice.

2. Acceptance

Using our websites and web services implies acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with them, simply do not use them.

3. Access to the services

Our web publications and this dashboard are freely accessible, at no cost and without an account. The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or permanence — we run our own infrastructure and do our best (delivery over promises).

4. Open source & licences

Build in the open, fork-friendly: unless otherwise stated on the work itself, our source code is released under a free licence and our editorial content may be reused with attribution. Each publication (repository, journal, edition) states its own licence; when none is stated, ask us before any commercial use. INTELLIGENCES trademarks, domain names and visual identities remain our property.

5. Third-party content

Our publications may quote, relay or link to third-party works and sites, which remain governed by their own licences and terms. The statuses shown on the dashboard concern our own services only.

6. Print editions & objects

Physical editions (print, objects, art prints) are covered by specific terms of sale communicated at the time of ordering — price, lead times, delivery, withdrawal and statutory warranties in accordance with the French Consumer Code. These terms only cover the use of the online services.

7. Notifications

Enabling notifications (the NOTIFY button) is voluntary and can be revoked at any time from the same button or your browser settings. No personal data is attached to the subscription — only the technical endpoint provided by your browser is stored, and it is deleted as soon as it becomes invalid.

8. Personal data

No cookies, no trackers, no data collection: zero GAFAM, own yours. The only technical data processed are the usual server logs and the notification endpoints described above. For any question or to exercise your rights (GDPR): web@intelligences.agency.

9. Liability

INTELLIGENCES cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or unavailability of its online services, nor for how third parties use our open-source publications outside the terms of their licences.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may evolve along with our publications and services; the applicable version is the one published on this page, dated at the top. Improvised. Imperfect. Alive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction.
